Here is the latest colored pencil drawing. I started it a few days ago and am having fun working on it. I would love to finish it before we return to school, but we'll see. I took some pictures of the progression so far. I started an oil painting of the same concept years ago (probably around 2000) and I haven't touched it since. Oil paint is so expensive, stinky, and full of chemicals... and even though I LOVE OIL, I just don't see myself working on it during the school year because the set up and break down is so time consuming, but I wanted to finish the concept. The color pencils are as rich as the oil paint... and less of a pain... so here it is so far. :)
