King-a-ling and I went on a little trip up Mt. Evans the other day.... we were hoping to see the Mountain Goats... but they were nowhere to be found! Even though there were no goats to behold, we enjoyed our visit. The weather was beautiful and sunny.
I love how it looks like you could drive off of the world....
There was still so much snow up on top... so funny to think that it was 85 degrees down below... less than an hour drive away...

We have been having thunderstorms in the afternoon these days, which have been making everything so green and lovely....

After we came back down the mountain, we stripped down to shorts and sandals and went for some pizza in Idaho Springs (the little town near the base of the mountain). It was great to be out and about in the crazy Colorado climate. :)

I think the goats walked away on those clouds...maybe leave them something good to eat next time...
