Yesterday was a groovy day. My friend Candice and I (music teacher at Glacier) went to opening day of Elitch Gardens. (formerly 6 Flags) It was sunny and mild. A perfect for a day of spinning and trying not to barf up your lunch. I hadn't been to an amusement park in almost 6 years and now I realize what the hold up has been. It's a little different going to an amusement park out here. The weather is so dry and happy. You are not forced to pretend to have fun while using your fog light to see through the oppressive humidity on your way to each ride. Even better, you are not permanently fused to each ride that you sit in...and NONE of them smell like B.O. It's not a bad deal.
Going to the amusement park brought some funny memories to the front of my brain. (You'll love this Chuck). I had to laugh at the little ghost of my Mom (She's not deceased! She was just at home!...for Pete's sake!) running around inside of my brain with her soapy face cloth in a sandwich bag. (they were not even zip-lock bags...) She would try to wash my brother and I nonstop whenever we would go to "Rocky Point Park" or anywhere else for that matter. We put up with it, but it was never a gentle cleaning... She would scrub us like we had fallen into the sewer. Then we would have to walk around all pink faced for the remainder of the mini vacation. At least we were clean and well loved!
Candice and I showed up for work today sounding like we have been smoking for years. All that screaming is OK for the art teacher...but not so handy for the music teacher! I'll have to bring some herbal tea in tomorrow. After I got bagged yelling "shit", I cleaned up my act a little... I yelled "OH F" at least once and "Holy Moses" a bunch of times. Anyway, good times.

How is it you have a sunny day when the rest of the state is socked in with snow? That's what the TV was showing us anyway. You know, when Judy says "Oh sugar" even the kids know she means "Oh shit!" Language, smanguage. Glad you're having fun!
