Free Movies in the Park

One of my favorite summertime things here in Colorado is going to watch free movies in the park.  A local business sponsors each event, and we get to watch free movies in the park! So they get publicity, and we get entertainment.... brilliant! I think that the thing I like the most, is that it is a great way for a family to go out for the evening and spend time together without having to drop all kinds of money. The kids play out in the field until the movie starts and the parents get to relax together... 

Here is the blow up screen. Families bring treats and snacks to enjoy the movie. 
Here is the Thornton Rec. Center. We were out in the middle of the sports field watching the movie. We went in to get our resident ID cards for the rec center... now we can enjoy the pool, basketball courts, volleyball courts, racket ball courts.... weight room... all sorts of fun stuff.
