I haven't painted with oil in six years or so. I have been missing it so much, and this weekends art class got me all excited to do it again. So last night I stained my canvass and did my under-painting, and today I set up on the big deck and painted for hours....
Something that I forgot was how I like to wipe my brushes off onto my pants.... something that I learned... oil painting outside in Colorado during Cottonwood season will add texture to your painting in the form of fuzzy seeds!

I got a lot of sky done today! I just love it. :)
I love the smell of oil paint....
