They Grow Up So Quickly

Seriously, when these kids came in to the art room the other day, they were in 2nd grade.... before I knew it, they were bearded and heavy laden with eyebrows! Below is Luis. He came up to me quietly to ask me if I liked his beard. I almost had a stroke laughing.....
Then when I turned around, I realized that his entire table had new facial hair... This is what happens when you let the kids use the scrap bucket and tape when they are finished with their artwork. I was in a full laughing fit for at least 5 minutes. I thought I would recover in time to get the class rolling again, when I got a good look at Joe (below).

He's so cute, seeing him with all of this paper taped to his face sent me over. I was still giggling when his class left the art room..... It was a great Friday in art.

Wow, how long is art class, anyway? Or do you just work them so hard that they age prematurely!? HILARIOUS. And so cute.

Oh, I love it :) It's because they have YOU for a teacher and apparently that has some sort of positive effect.... :)
