Trick or Trunk

Trick or Trunk is an event we have at Glacier Peak. The kids are invited to come and trick or treat out of decorated car trunks in the school's parking lot. Parents volunteer to decorate their trunks and pass out candy at each trunk. It's cool because all of the kids have a safe place to get treats. This year I think we collected 600 pounds of candy from the students of GPE (a bag of candy gets you a ticket to trick or trunk). It was a great night...and it was beautiful and warm out. Here are Missy and Riley. Ri was Tiger Woods and Missy is an old school golfer.They were very cute. Needless to say, the trunk below was the winning trunk. It was actually the back of a truck... with the nightmare before Christmas theme. The family has been working on it for months. They made the characters out of paper mache...Below is one of our parents and his daughter Kaitlyn.... I almost passed out laughing..
Below are Kelsey and Joli, two of our second grade teachers at Glacier. I wish that the picture had come out better because they looked so cute. Below is a picture of a BOY NAMED JACKSON! This costume was the shocker of the evening. Missy and I almost choked when he opened his cape! HELLO!

Here are new mommy Lindsay and baby Lilly. Lindsay is our Special Ed Lady. Below: Mary as Cookie Monster, Cindy as a tourist, and Jen as a spider. Jen's dog was also dressed as a spider, but I didn't get a picture because he was on the move!
