when I was making taco shells in the toaster oven and totally forgot they were in there and they burst into flames while I was on the phone with my firefighter husband? I sure do... I casually carried my flaming toaster oven out to the back stoop to put itself out... Please note the flame marks on the top.

Tacos anyone? Who knew that they would actually melt?

That's my excitement for the night. Not to worry, I have more taco shells!....The toaster oven might need a little work though!

Oh, this one is sooo open to dirty jokes and that pesky dead-horse flogging that happens so often when we get together. FLAMING TACO? Really? Sounds like something you could find down on Colfax. Maybe it's your new porn name.... What do you think, Sawx fan?
It is sad to admit...but I actually lost a toaster oven the exact same way when I was 14 and home alone.
Why do you all mock me?????
would you like that with sour cream?
This blog entry has taken a turn for the worse... My house still smells like burnt tacos...I tried to cover it up by burning an apple candle, but now it's burt taco and apples....perhaps I'll add some bathroom spray to the mix. Springtime fresh burt tacos and apple... Fresh linen burnt taco and apples...good grief.
Have you ever noticed that certain air fresheners actually make you think you smell poop because of the association they have with attempting to cover up poop? Especially cinnamon apple. So you could have poop cented cinnamon apple tacos.
And here am I, sending out invites to my house warming/toaster oven taco party...awkward. Let's just wait to get together next season during the Yom Kippur/ Pop Tarts microwave party
As long as it doesn't conflict with my Festivus/All Saint's Day Bunco game.
Oh, before I forget. Your M&M pancakes were nostalgic. They reminded me of growing up on a scented candle farm as a young, up n' coming basted treat.
UPDATE: My house now smells like vanilla burnt tacos and pancakes. Glad I could bring you to a happy place by providing you with pancake nourishment.I hope you were able to baste them with lots of butter and syrup. Scented candle farm eh? I learn more about you every day.
In honor of the burnt taco shells, how do you say "There you go, bitches" in Spanish? It's not my native language.
