Soon I was on my way...the ride was too slippery for me to properly digest meeting Mary.... I ran into Glacier Peak and started painting on children. The line was enormous...a parent jumped in to help me start painting...to which the children exclaimed "I don't want her, I want Mrs. King." It was sweet, but I was buried! I actually had a lot of fun painting on the children...maybe it's because it is a forbidden practice in my art room. I dunno....but it went by quickly.
The Winter Wonderland was over in a flash and I was off to Subway for lunch and then over to Kip's with birthday cake in hand. We hung out and watched most of a really good movie until the movie decided that it was broken....
Later on, it was off to Missy and Steve's to get ready for our staff Christmas party. We had to leave early to decorate the place it was being held at.... It was a humdinger of a party. All 14 of us had a real rocking time( we did have fun).... there were so many types of beautiful treats to eat...all specially prepared for our Hawaiian themed party.... We all had to eat about 5 of them to make a dent in the situation... We called it a night early because the turn out was so sad due to the snow, and headed back to Missy's. I drove back to Denver on some of the worst roads I have ever driven on....I went about 30 MPH all the way home.
I'm glad to be home.... I plan on making some some soup and watching a movie..... and maybe taking a little time to ponder "Mary". Here are some pictures from the Christmas party... I also hope to steal some face painting pictures from Candie's blog to add to this later! Sorry about the dissertation.
Ahh...the dessert table....so many treats...so little people. We tried to eat them all, but about 5 pineapple upside down cakes in, I just couldn't go on.

Kristen, Me and Mary... not "Mary" from the post office!
Me and Kristen... I was wearing all of the leftover thingies...
That's right...I wore flip flops in 6 inches of snow...Missy did too... it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Thanks to you and everyone else who braved the "blizzard" to come to the party! Hey, we coulda had it at my house, but then I would have had to clean... HE HE! Nice LEIS!
At least you tried to have forced holiday fun. Maybe the flip flops weren't such a great idea. Everyone who was there looked festive and the restaurant appeared to be very nice. Jo Ma Ma
