Valentine's Surprise

I have to be the first to admit, that I had the Valentine blues this year. I know Valentine's day is a friggin scam to get us to buy cards and send flowers, but the truth is, I sorta like it anyway. After being apart from my husband, for what seems like forever, I found my friend's trying to talk me off the ledge last Monday.

Good move Just-in-time King...the flowers arrived on Tuesday and really cheered me up. My favorite thing ever was the card attached.The pictures below were taken on Valentine's morning.... When I got to school Missy and Candie were hiding in my room with Valentine fun! As I opened the door (which tool me forever...sorry guys) Missy and Candie were ready with their cameras.... When I stepped into the room, I was overwhelemed with hearts, streamers, balloons, candy , and little gifties! WEEE!
Thank you and I love you to my very excellent and thoughtful friends Missy, Candie, Kristin, Shawna (get off my back), Jen, Deb, and Dubbs who snuck into my room to decorate and created a pink and red wonderland. They wanted to be sure that I knew how much I was loved becasue I had been so mopy and lonely.... needless to say, I will keep the hearts (below) on my wall until I am retired.
I am so lucky to have such amazing people to work with. I love the kind hearts and happy spirits at Glacier Peak.... and all of the silliness...don't forget the silliness! I was so touched that they all took the time out to decorate my room and just reach out to give me a much needed boost. I am so blessed to be where I am.
