Really?

Today was the first day of school with the kids. I was really excited to see them and ready to get in there and go... until I was verbally assaulted by a mean, bitchy grandma. She was all out of sorts about something... and was not shy about taking it out on me. Upon her storming off, I burst into tears in the hallway....I'm going to blame my reaction on my PMS, but I sobbed for about 15 minutes without being able to stop. It was like being 4 all over again... The parents that I know and love, rushed to my aid... and the children who saw the whole thing (classy!) rushed to hug me... but it really put a damper on day one. It was like someone took a dump in my ice cream bowl. That's all I have to say.
