Am I done yet?

I took today to assemble the flowers (despite the broken drill bit) and get them all primed up. Now they are ready for paint! It's nice to be at a point with them that I am able to work on them without tons of tools and other clunky things. Side note: When I was walking into the hardware store today, I crossed paths with a homeless guy. He was wheeling along (missing a leg) and collecting various things (cans mostly) and when he saw me coming he quickly scooted himself over to make room for me on the sidewalk and gave me a smile. I thanked him and called him a gentleman, and he was happy to be recognized for his manners. There is just something about the whole thing I found touching....I dunno.

Side note number 2: Today, I sold our A/C, from last season, to a girl who found us on Craig's list... she was from Natic Ma and moved to Denver 5 years ago....When I told her I went to Framingham State College, she almost fell over. She mentioned she needed some yard work and help with ideas...and suddenly I have another landscape design gig....We'll be meeting up after I return from Ma, so I can draw her up a plan and we can get her backyard sorted out....life is funny.

This turned out to be a longer entry than I thought!

If you read this blog, leave a comment here and there so I know I'm not just talking to Missy, Allison, and Pants!! THANKS!!!
