This is the view from the ski lift at Winter Park...It's still amazing to me when it is 90 in Denver, there is still snow on the mountain tops. It's nice to escape to the
mountains to enjoy a 75 degree day.
Here we are in Winter Park. I hadn't been there before, so we decided to take a little road trip to see what it was all about. In the winter, it is a booming ski resort, but in the summer they have activities too. We got an all day pass, played mini golf, and had a blast riding the alpine slide.
Here is the alpine slide. We went on it about 50 times. It goes all the way up the
mountain and you fly down on a sled. The only real
scary part was trying not to run over the marmots on the track. It was really fun.
