Dragon Boat Festival and CASA BONITA!!

Today Vic and I went to check out the Dragon Boat Festival at Sloan's Lake Park. We watched a few boat races and took a walk around to see what type of booths were there. It was an OK event, but it didn't knock my socks off. The boat racing was cool, but once you watched a few races it was pretty much the same thing over and over. I liked the way the boats were painted, and the people in the races were funny to watch.

Most of you know that the CASA BONITA was the highlight of my day. Who can resist a big pink castle type thing in the middle of a strip mall? I don't really know what to say about the CASA because there are so many wonderful things to say. It is the only restaurant with a waterfall, cliff divers, cotton candy, pinatas, pirates, gorillas, kiddie rides, caves, fortune tellers, and treasure chests....I go about once every 2 months or so....I can't stay away. I do feel a little sick, but it's well worth it.
