There has been an unfortunate smell in my home since my return. It sort of smells like dead animal...but where is it? I have searched the basement and I can't find it. I have a sinking feeling that some little critter died in the crawlspace. Justin boarded the crawlspace up so the cat wouldn't get into it, so getting in there to investigate will not be an easy task. If it's a mouse, will the stink just sort of fade away? Something Stinks...
It's good to be home....but something stinks! 
There has been an unfortunate smell in my home since my return. It sort of smells like dead animal...but where is it? I have searched the basement and I can't find it. I have a sinking feeling that some little critter died in the crawlspace. Justin boarded the crawlspace up so the cat wouldn't get into it, so getting in there to investigate will not be an easy task. If it's a mouse, will the stink just sort of fade away? Help!

oh oh! i had a dead something in my office walls and all i can say is that it take a friggin' AGE for that stink to go away! my best friend was an ozone machine that the maintenance guys brought... ack!
Eeew...yeah, that's not going to go away any time soon. Maybe you should call pest control...they may at least be able to help you locate the thing.
ChaCha, your house and garden are BEAUTIFUL!!! You sure do know the way to create a HOME. Regardingthe mouse, unfortunately, ask uncle Chris, the smell does NOT go away, and your landlord needs to take care of this problem as uncle Chris had to pay the exterminators to take them out of the walls and ceilings. Now it doesn't smell anymore.
I forgot to tell you that Louise is GORGEOUS and your friends are ADORABLE JoMAMA
