YAY FOR ART!!

I went back to Geez Louise today with some print outs of my artwork and my little business card to ask the fellas if they would be interested in hanging my artwork. It took me almost 2 hours to muster up the courage to show them the print outs that I had with me. It is always so scary to think about being turned down (as I have been many times before)... so 2 coffees/2 hours later, I hopped up to the counter and showed them my work. They loved what they saw and have officially made me February's artist! In February, they sponsor a little opening with wine and cheese, and I can invite my friends to come along! Now I have a goal in mind... but I have got to get cranking if I'm going to fill the walls up! It'll give me a reason to make artwork while I am teaching (because I can get pretty lazy about that during the school year.) WHEW! Gotta go make stuff!!
