Hooray for Newport

Yesterday my brother and I spent the day in Newport (RI) near the ocean. It's still one of my favorite places in the world. I always suggest that anyone who visits the east coat should take a ride over there and spend the day. First of all, there were goats... which guarantees a good time.
I kept expecting this guy to spit on us. We kept a safe distance. I, of course, insisted that he looks like my cat...but in retrospect, I think I just miss my cat.
One of my favorite features of Newport's Brenton Point-The kite flying madness! (Justin and I saw a boat sink here once)
My brother and I hung out near the water for a good long time.
Yay ocean. Love it! AND it was actually a non-humid day, so we were able to enjoy being outside...we lucked out.

That looks amazing! East coast beaches are so different from west coast! Really gorgeous. Except for the llama. I am not a llama fan, I think they're rather evil. I was attacked by an Oklahoman llama named Naomi on Steve's Granddad's farm several years ago. On Christmas. That's just wrong. She looked me in the eye, bared her teeth, and jumped up and tried to left hook me with one of her hooves. At which point I used Nicole as a human shield while Steve did the Karate Kid "crane move" to intimidate her. I now have an irrational fear of llamas...and she doesn't look like Maisie!
