because they paint crazy things like this. Third grade kiddos have been learning about Keith Haring. They have created artwork that tells some sort of story, using the type of faceless, moving figures that Keith Haring created. The two pictures below were my favorite paintings from last week....who knows what this week will hold.

abstracts created by first grade kids. I really loved these two paintings because they are so crazy and different from what this project usually turns out to look like. It's neat to see how each kid interprets the project so differently.
