Labor Day Weekend Bliss

Labor Day weekend was a blast. I was invited to join the Soriano-Marsh family fun Labor Day weekend, and man was it great. We got to stay in these amazing cabins with running water and electricity, and nice beds!! The cabins are located in an area near Colorado Springs called Farish. I had never heard of it before. Farish is like a hidden treasure in my opinion. The views are spectacular, and there are beautiful ponds all around to enjoy. Above is a view of the cabin that I stayed in with Missy, Steve and Riley. It's actually a duplex, so Missy's brother and sis-in-law stayed on the right side.Here is the conference center. We were allowed to use it for free because nobody had booked it for the weekend. We made meal after meal in there...including my special M+M pancakes (cakes of pan)! Here is a view from our cabin...how amazing is this?

Big puffy sky!Here are Missy's parents kicking our butts in the paddle boat section of the pond! We didn't have the ability to go right in our boat...so we had to go in a lot of circles and go backwards most of the time...which was extremely funny!Riley Marsh was taking his paddle boat experience very seriously... I'm glad someone was, because all of the adults broke every rule on the "DO NOT" board... Yikes...Here is a view of the lake we were paddle boating on! I love the big rocks, they were one of my favorite sites. We all had such a great weekend. I have been fully adopted into the family! I think I'll have to change my name to Charline-Ferreira-King-Soriano-Marsh. It'll be a pain in the butt to put it on my credit cards, but I think it'll be worth it!! Yay Farish!
